Eco School

What is an Eco School?

An Eco School is a school that provides opportunities to empower pupils to have a positive impact on their school and wider environment.

It can help to increase confidence, develop leadership skills, improve well-being and behaviour,

Why are we an Eco School?

The Eco Schools programme is a global initiative involving children from 68 countries that are helping to create positive change for the benefit of future generations.

The program complements the work of our ‘Rights Respecting School’, ‘School of Sanctuary ’, as well as the work we do as a ‘Excelerator  Mental Health School’.

Together these support not only the whole school community but also the wider community beyond .
