Vision & Values

At Holy Spirit Catholic and Church of England Primary School, our vision is for children to be

‘happy and successful’

Happy is the most important factor, as this enables children to feel good about themselves, giving them confidence and self-belief. If children are emotionally settled, then this leads to a positive attitude to life, work and play, which in turn leads to positive outcomes in all areas of learning.

We believe our children have the right to a fulfilled life and we want to provide those chances for them through a curriculum that offers opportunities for growth, spiritually, morally, socially, emotionally and academically.

As Jesus said,

“I have come so that they may have life and live life to the full.”

This is what our school wants for our children.

Our values which are based on our Christian beliefs were chosen by the children as these were words from the bible with meanings they understood and could relate to. They chose them because they felt they reflected our school best and how we lived and worked as Christians together.
