Holy Spirit Catholic and Church of England Primary School

Our Aims

At Holy Spirit Catholic and Church of England Primary School our aim is for children to leave our school as happy, confident, successful children with a strong moral purpose for the greater good.

Life is a long journey and we aim to equip them from a very young age, with the skills to believe in themselves and to know they have a choice in life and they can make a difference to our world.

We aim for them to have a sense of personal, spiritual fulfilment based on our Christian beliefs and a relationship with God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that will stay with them throughout their lives.

We aim for them to have a moral compass that will guide them to make positive choices in life for themselves and others around them.

We aim for them to be happy and to build positive relationships with all around them, accepting that others are different and diversity is something we should all respect.

We aim for them to be able to express themselves emotionally and recognise their feelings and manage them positively so they can make measured and considered decisions that will benefit their well-being.

We aim for them to work hard, to enjoy learning and have a thirst for knowledge so they have enquiring minds. We aim for them to understand, develop and apply key skills which will enable them to go on and access education at their appropriate and chosen level so they have a chance of following their dreams and living a fulfilled life of their choice. We aim to provide a range of experiences within their time with us, so they are exposed to the many opportunities available to them in the wider world.

Ultimately we aim for them to have a happy, diverse, high quality education that will challenge and motivate them to be the best person they can be in every which way for the rest of their lives.
